This is the Jackson Racing Track Engine Oil Cooler Kit. Oil coolers are highly beneficial especially if you enjoy weekend track days where your oil temps will be on the rise. What happens if your oil temps get too hot? Your oil will lose its viscosity and lubricating properties which can lead to premature engine wear and damage. This is a fresh, new kit for the new FA24 platform found in the new BRZ and GR86, and features a highly efficient Setrab 9-series oil cooler core that can keep the oil temps at bay for enthusiasts with purpose-built race cars. However, if you live in warmer climates with a daily driver or a weekend show car, this oil cooler will certainly be effective for those occasional spirited canyon drives as well. Note that to help with engine warm-up for daily use, the OEM heat exchanger has been retained in this kit.
