Here, you are looking at the Torque Solution Billet Aluminum Cam Plate. This component has been designed to eliminate the manual transmission cam plate oil leak. The OEM cam plate is sealed using RTV which is spread differently on every model but eventually, it fails which will leak over time. When repaired under warranty, only more RTV will be applied. Torque Solution engineered a permanent fix with their Billet Aluminum Cam Plate. This plate is fabricated from 6061-T6 billet aluminum materials, and it comes in an anodized finish for extra protection against corrosion. It creates a seal using a high-temperature Viton O-ring gasket.
